The final issue of the academic year has been printed and distributed around campus. It contains Miscellany's survey of Senior Sophister students and an interview with broadcaster Mark Little, as well as articles on politics, nightclubs, head shops and much more. Pick up your copy from the Hamilton, Arts Building, GMB or House 6 now.
The editor for Volume 118, to be produced during the 2010/11 academic year, has been chosen through a process of election, and will be confirmed at the Annual General Meeting of Trinity Publications on March 16th. Correspondence sent to editor@miscellany.ie should therefore be addressed to Polly Dennison from now on.

Submissions are no longer being accepted for our final issue of the year; thanks to all those who have contributed pieces. We will advise as to the status of submissions by March 1.
In response to several queries, any student interested in submitting creative writing to College publications should contact our sister publication, Icarus (www.icarusmag.org) or The Attic, produced annually by the Literary Society (literary@csc.tcd.ie).

Our final issue of the year will be published on 8 March, the first day back after the mid-term reading week. We will need submissions to be sent a little further in advance than usual, as the editorial process will need to take place in advance of reading week for this issue. Therefore, the deadline for issue 4 is Monday, 22 February at 5pm.
As ever, features, opinion or commentary on any topic will be considered, but for those looking for more specific guidance, the general theme of the issue - as we approach the end of the year - is the recession as it affects students and graduates. So jobs, emigration, unemployment, the real value of a degree...
We also have a number of specific assignments on this theme. Contact editor@miscellany.ie for details.
